Each month at Complete Care Chiropractic we honor one of our hard-working patients for the time and commitment they have made to improving their health.  Patients that are diligent about maintaining their care program may qualify and get rewarded for their hard work.  In part, as a small recognition for their efforts each winner receives a $20 gift card to an area restaurant.

This month we are pleased to recognize Bryan.  Bryan has applied the principals of true health to his life and, as a result, has seen miraculous changes.  Read his story below, view his before and after pictures and listen to his testimonial on the website and facebook.

Bryan’s Story

In April of 2009 I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, also known as the “suicide disease.”  It is a nerve disorder in the facial area.  I was on strong pain meds for about three months before coming to Complete Care Chiropractic in July of 2009.

In June I was bitten by a tick and was diagnosed with Lone Star Tick fever.  This is a life or death disease that causes nerve damage to survivors.  I had a pinched nerve in my back and nerve damage in my right leg from the tick bite.  I literally dragged my right foot along, unable to use it.

I was also diagnosed with diabetes in June of 2009, and was dependent on two types of insulin.

Since Starting treatment with Dr. Ben, I was able to completely stop taking pain medication.  I am down to half of the insulin that I was first on.  I do not drag my right foot any longer, because I can walk almost normally again.  My entire right leg has started to rebuild muscle and most of the nerve damage is repaired.

The changes that Dr. Ben has made to my spine are phenomenal.  He has, in my eyes given me back my life.  The medical doctors at the hospital told me that I would most likely never use my right leg again.  They had little hope of my recovery.

I would recommend Dr. Ben and his office staff to everyone that feels they have no hope of a better life.  I am living proof of Complete Care Chiropractic and Dr. Ben Swacha’s amazing compassion and healing.

Owasso Community Resources is conducting a 2-week long food drive in order to stock up on some much needed items for their food pantry.  Our office is participating as a drop-off location.  They are running low on and in great need of the following items:

Juice, Canned Pasta, Canned Meats, Rice and/or Beans, Dry Cereal, Meal Helpers, Pudding, Saltine Crackers, Peanut Butter, Frozen Ground Beef

Simply drop-off any of the items to our office and they will be taken to Owasso Community Resources.

All new patients scheduled during this period(January 25th- February 5th) will receive their consultation, examination, and x-rays for $20 worth of donated foods or a check to OCR.  Call 918-272-8054 or stop by the office for more information.

We are partnering up with Owasso Community Resources to help them with their annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive. This is a perfect opportunity to provide an area family with a memorable Thanksgiving as well as introduce a friend, coworker or family member you know who is struggling with his or her health or someone who wants to learn how to avoid health problems to our office.

For 2 weeks in November(the 9th through the 20th) all new patients will receive a consultation, exam and x-rays in our office for $40(normally a value of$200-$300).  All of the proceeds will then be donated to Owasso Community Resources to purchase a Thanksgiving basket of food for an area family. What a great way to give back to the community and at the same time give the gift of life and health to someone you love.

I want to challenge our existing family at Complete Care to give as well. This is an awesome way to help enhance the 5th essential to your health which is maintaining peaceful relationships and helping others around us. We were put here to serve so lets step up and help some people. You guys have the opportunity to donate $20 towards a basket and I will match that or you can really step up to the plate and donate $40 which will provide an entire basket. We are stepping up as well and will be matching your donations with $20, all being given to OCR. So here is the deal, we will have stuff to pass out in the office and give to you guys to hand out to others. I am setting a goal for our office to raise enough money to purchase at least 20 BASKETS. I know we can do it!!

A little incentive to donate and refer will be the chance to win a health and beauty basket valued at approximately $500. By donating money for a basket and referring others your name will be entered into the drawing increasing your chances of winning. New patients will also be entered to win as well. This will be a fun time in our office and we look forward to serving with you. Watch for information in the office as well.

I want to welcome everyone to our blog here at Complete Care. I am so excited that we are finally up and running! I’m not the most technologically savvy person in the world but thank God I have some talented people on my team. I personally want to thank Brad for designing the website and creating all these tools for you guys to utilize.

Our vision for doing this was really to provide you guys with an extension of care in the office. For those of you who are new to us, our motto in our office is “Knowledge is Power.” Our approach is unique in our office which really helps us witness life transformations, but the main reason I attribute to patients doing so well is the simple fact that they are educated and able to “take the reigns” regarding their health.

Even though it is brand new, our website will probably be undergoing some changes in the upcoming months as we figure out how to effectively and efficiently deliver you the most up-to date information possible. I plan on implementing a “members only” section in the future for existing patients in our office. This will be used mainly as a resource to provide you with instructions regarding your at-home corrective exercises etc. I plan on posting a lot of this information in video format so you can actually see the exercises being performed. We will be posting upcoming events that we are doing in the office(talks and workshops) and out in the community(screenings, talks, promotions etc.). Share this information with everyone you know because those around you want and deserve to be healthy just like you. This is your chance to reach out a hand and help someone who may be struggling.
