Meet Dr. Ben

Dr. Ben Swacha was born and raised in the small community of Franklin in western Pennsylvania. Gaining his 6’6” stature at an early age, he felt most comfortable on the basketball court. It was this intense passion for basketball and physical activity that sparked his interest in the body and how it works, which led him to pursue his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Biology at Penn State University.

Growing up, Dr. Ben witnessed several family members struggle with poor health, as well as the passing of a very close aunt at the age of 34 due to a reaction to an over-the-counter medication.   This led him to believe that there had to be a smarter option to not only help people maintain and regain health but most importantly prevent problems in the first place. This smarter option not only takes the time to ask, “What’s causing the problem,” but then seeks to find and correct it rather than merely treating symptoms. While seeking alternatives in the healthcare profession to the modern medical “sick care” system that only treats symptoms, he found Chiropractic. In Chiropractic, he not only found a profession but also a calling where patients saw real, miraculous, and lasting changes to their health.

Dr. Ben graduated from the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic in 2006. During his professional school career he attended many seminars outside of the core curriculum to further enhance his expertise in the field and continues to do so today. In addition to receiving training in 9 different Chiropractic techniques while attending Parker, Dr. Ben has sought out and received additional training in Chiropractic Biophysics, Active Release Technique, Pettibon, and CLEAR Scoliosis Correction, so that he can provide his patients with the best care possible.

After working 2 years in Denison, Texas, God led Dr. Ben to the Owasso, Oklahoma community. It is his calling and mission to educate a sick and dying world on true health and where it comes from, in order to restore a quality of life that has been lost among many due to health problems. Dr. Ben’s passion is to educate and adjust as many families as possible in the Owasso community and beyond, so that everyone can reach the God-given health potential for which they were created.

Meet Kara Swacha

Kara Swacha, the wife of Dr. Ben Swacha, offers patients support, a smile, and helps to cultivate the family atmosphere that is abundant at Complete Care Chiropractic. With a degree in advertising from the University of Oklahoma, Kara brings much training and experience to her job as office manager at Complete Care.   Before opening the office with Dr. Ben in November of 2008, she was exposed to the wonderful world of chiropractic while working at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. It was throughout her 3 years of experience in the admissions office at Parker that her philosophy of healthcare began to transform. Her eyes were opened to a whole new principle of health, a principle that teaches others that our bodies are created to heal, function, and operate from the inside-out free of medications and surgeries, rather than from the outside-in. What started as a job became a mission and a passion. In 2009 she joined Dr. Ben in marriage and together they began spreading their mission to others. God led Dr. Ben and Kara to Owasso, Oklahoma where they believe it is their calling to spread the mission of true God-given health throughout Owasso and surrounding communities.
